Database Committee

The ResearchOne Database Committee governs the running and general management of the database. This includes overseeing all database developments, policies and access. The committee includes representatives from the key stakeholders in the project including clinicians, patients, researchers.  Members have expertise in legal, ethical, linkage and healthcare data management matters.

Committee role

This representative committee reviews any proposed amendments to database policy, research programme and the access rights for the database. The committee  ensures the database is been driven in the correct direction, to deliver quality, high-impact results, whilst maintaining sound ethical and governance standards.

The committee are informed of data use and project outcomes by the ResearchOne Project Committee. The committee is responsible for submitting an annual report to the Research Ethics Committee on behalf of ResearchOne.
